Go / No-Go
A classic test of response inhibition. Respond as fast as you can to green targets, but resist responding to red ones. Sounds simple. It's not.
Game Settings
30% no-go trials, moderate pace
See GREEN → TAP!
See RED → DON'T tap!
How to Play
- GREEN circle: Tap or press SPACE as fast as you can
- RED circle: Do NOT respond - hold back your impulse
- Stimuli appear rapidly - stay alert
- Balance speed with accuracy
The Science
The Go/No-Go task directly measures response inhibition - your ability to suppress a prepotent motor response. This is a core executive function that's often impaired in ADHD and other conditions. Commission errors (false alarms on No-Go trials) indicate difficulty with impulse control.
Key Metrics
- Hits: Correct responses to Go stimuli
- False Alarms: Incorrect responses to No-Go stimuli (impulse failures)
- Reaction Time: Speed of correct Go responses
- Inhibition Score: Percentage of correctly inhibited No-Go trials
